  • It all started with an interest in fisheries biology

    Out of high school, I was dead set on starting my own private fisheries management business. What I quickly found out was that I already had most of the technical knowledge concerning developing a healthy pond and had almost none of the practical knowledge of running a business.

    Fast forward through college where I received a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Consumer Behavior and I stepped straight into a full time Marketing Manager role with a fishing retail industry leader, American Legacy Fishing & Outdoors.

     

    While there, I wore every marketing-adjacent hat you could imagine;  Social media, email, SMS, graphic design, product photography, process development, loyalty program development, event coordinator— You get the idea.

    Since leaving American Legacy in 2024, I have honed my marketing skills down to an arsenal of tools that can be applied to help move the needle for any marketing mix across a variety of industries. RAGTAG is that arsenal.
